this is my acme condor im having problems with it. it doesnt go as fast as it used to and from what i can remember when i bought it i had no idea about rc cars or nitro powered cars. i dont think i ran it in at all i just drove it slowley for a few tanks but later was hitting the gas at full at around the 3 tank of going half throttle. i bashed it smashed it and really cant be bothered fixing it but ive spent money on it reparing the damages ive made so its worth fixing. im wondering if you guys could give me some guidlines of what i should do to get full speed out of the acme 15 engine thats in there.

thanks guys :)

  • I have the same problem with my savegeXL

  • @semion2003 shit hapened dude :/ sometimes engines just fuck up no matter what you try and do. :/ its a expensive hobby what can i say..

  • Right, what you do is take the air filter off so you reveal the the carboreta. Now open up the throttle and see if it opening up fully if not you need to adjust the triangle shaped cip closest to the engine with an alan key. Now you should be able to see the carb fully opening. Now restart it and it should work.

  • Idle to low

  • it's the high speed needle

  • i work at a hobbie shop u have to tune ur remote aswell as rich and poor

  • i think you need to tune the engine or there is not enough fuel coming into the engine. hope that helps

  • It's the needle

  • i am having the same problem with mine i have checked everythink it started of the a crack in the fuel tank which wasnt pressurising the lines so i changed that and when i rev it for a bit it dies and then i have to put fuel down the carby and of it goes for another min. make sure all your fuel lines are clear take the air fliter of and take the tube that goes from your fuel tank and blow through the line and have a look down the carby see if u can see fuel comin through

  • i think ur low speed needle is to rich
