We are not supposed to controll anything. Just Be Aware. You can be in a cycle, from proud to angry, from happy to sad. You will be stuck in the cycle , one day happy and the other day sad, If you want to look beyond the five senses and find true peace then start observing your moods and pattern of Life .This will free you . you will no longer depend on things for happiness. You have to experience it to know it. If your life is going well, fine, dont change. There is nothing good or nothing bad.

if your life is going fine, then how is that NOT good? because if you change - by your implied logic - it would not be going fine. If it is not fine, then you need to do something to make it fine. if that's so - you are recognizing one thing as better than the other. . . i.e. good and bad

I agree with you wathaldi, about the Christ, it is not a gift in my opinion. I believe that the title Christ is one way of describing our true divine nature which the man Jesus expressed to a high degree (as other masters have done) and showed the rest of humanity by examploe how to do the same, this is what Christ being the "way shower" means to me.

No one in Scripture is EVER "described" as already having ANY "divine nature" OUTSIDE of Triune Holy GOD! Jesus Christ : when Thomas turned and called Him: "My LORD and My GOD"; turned back and AFFIRMED this recognition. Jesus did not say that Thomas was already "divine". He agreed HE was The Unique Triune Godhead. Come out of Eternity. Jesus THE Christ. ~

Thanks for sharing your perspective memama2, I believe its important for folks to follow their own understanding. We're all walking on our own path at our own pace and we can certainly lend assistance to those whom we feel drawn to, and I always encourage all to follow their heart!
