Skateboarding today is so different

people are too serious and only think about money and sponsers

What happend to skaters having fun pushing each other til somthing amazing happens.

Skating was underground for a long time. i remember getting made fun of and despised for skating. It kinda sold out.

I guess thats what happens when corprate america takes over...

@SheepDogSkates I totally agree with you man its true. I laugh at all the kids who wear Element and Zoo York around and don't have a clue of its roots. (And those are still NEW companies to me!) In fact the same jerks who made fun of those clothes when I was in high school 11-15 years ago all wear them now along with their DC shoes. The good thing I see happening is that skating is at least more acceptable today, and kids are doing some totally amazing stuff I would never have imagined!
