Jazzy Blues Jam - Em Pentatonic - Improv

the chords are Em11 (stacked 4ths)...then I slide up 1 fret. the scale then goes to Fm Pentatonic momentarily...then back to Em. sounds outside. I recorded the first measure using the Boss Loop Station...then improvized over the top.

What do you use to record? I try to record using the speaker on my computer but the sound comes out broken up and the same with my camera if I am too far from the built in mike. Any suggestions for me, anybody?
