  • Hell Yeah!

  • was this one of the first videos on youtube over 5 years ago... thanks for posting

  • haha that fiddle is getting beat up

  • Oh my goodness .. Lily May's powerful, energy-laden fiddlin style is really somethin special. Is she related to Clark Kissinger, by chance ? They play real similar. And Rosie attacks that guitar somethin special too .. her style reminds me of Freida Lunsford's in her prime, when she was young (Bascom Lamar's wife). Genuine old-timey music .. does it get any better than this .. I'd doubt it ...

  • 1968

  • people say my band is fast. These ladies rock it!!

  • Fine fresh version of this great tune. The chicken just came to life and flapped its wings.

  • Woody Guthrie swore he would marry one (or two, or three) of the Coon Creek Girls.

  • There's an awesome article about Lily May and the Coon Creek Girls in the latest Old Time Herald. This is her.

  • My God .. this is fantastic .. I think I've HEARD that name "The Coon Creek Girls " before .. from somewhere else in my vinyl / CD collection liner-notes. But I'd never before actually heard their music, nor had I ever seen 'em perform. What a powerful punch they pack !! A superb posting, a real surprise, can't thank you enough !!
