Demolition is the best tag team ever
-
yea is there sum reason these guys arnt good enough to be in the hall of fame?
-
@TheMightyCookieShow I agree completely. While there were a lot of good tag teams over the years, The Midnight Express, The Hart Foundation, The Steiner Brothers, etc. The Road Warriors and Demolition are the upper echelon. Those two are the Jerry Rice of tag teams.

@BSGdepot There was a multitude of cool matches Vince never gave us. Hogan vs Mankind, HBK/HHH vs Kane/Taker, Hart Foundation vs Steiner Bros, Steve Austin vs Goldberg, nWo vs DX (Hogan, Nash, Hall vs HBK, HHH, X-Pac), Mankind vs Booker T, Bret Hart vs Ultimate Warrior (1996), Reforming the Horsemen in 2002 (they had Flair, Malenko, Benoit, and Arn Anderson)... Sometimes, I question Vince's genius. WCW gave away too many dream matches, but they didnt drop the ball on many of them.

@TheHaloRed Oh god i remember that moment!

One thing that is most telling about both the Road Warriors and Demolition. When folks debate who the greatest Tag Team in Wrestling history is, you always hear these two teams up against each other, with their respective fans getting their backs. One thing that is not in question, in the realm of who was/is the greatest tag team of all time, only Demolition and the Road Warriors make it to the debate, and no matter which team you like best, that speaks highly of both.

@BSGdepot Yea, that is the other heart breaker...
-
@TheMightyCookieShow True Enough, Vince had Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan in their prime on his roster at same time, and failed to make that happen. Flair & Hogan at the time would have been up there with Andre vs Hogan as one of the biggest WM main events ever. So yeah Vince blew some golden chances.

@BSGdepot Road Warriors ripped off the Madmax movie and the Super Friends cartoon show. lol
-
@BSGdepot My God how silly it is that we are all still arguing the merits of Demolition versus the Road warriors after all these years. I guess this is what happens when Vince fails to give us a epic final battle between the two. The Road Warriors at the peek, versus Demolition at theirs, with no Crush and no Bill Eadie sick from shell fish. Top shape on both sides. My god what a huge ball that was dropped in the day.
Anyone remember the Royal Rumble when Ax was entrant #1 and Smash was #2?
