Alternative Timothy Dalton Gunbarrel (TLD)

After doing some Doctor Who videos, I thought it was time to do a few ones on James Bond too.

My first offering is that old chestnut - the Gunbarrel.

This however is an alternative Gunbarrel for Timothy Dalton in the film - The Living Daylights. I used Nic Raine's version of the James Bond theme, as played by the City of Prague Orchestra for a Bond compilation album many years ago. I've edited the theme to fit the sequence and added a (new) gun shot to make it appear more authentic. I hope people like it, I think it fits quite well in terms of the sound of The Living Daylights as made by the genius of John Barry.

This is definetely not Nic Raine's version. This is from John Barry's album "John Barry: The Collection."

Nic Raine is the arrangement/Arranger not the composer (John Barry). And every CD released by Silva Screen with James Bond music (including John Barry: The Collection) (except Never Say Never Again which was the original soundtrack) is usually arranged and conducted by Nic Raine, who is a resident music arranger/conductor to the Silva Screen company. Any music from the official James Bond films on a Silva Screen CD is therefore a modern cover, and never an original recording from the film itself
