1 out of 4 women will experience domestic violence. Those are very high numbers. That's like saying 1 out of 4 men on the street no matter who they are, will inflict domestic violence on a woman.

Dwelling on the violence inflicted on the women is almost sensationalizing the abuse. There isn't much talk about WHY some men do it. If people were more serious about stopping DV they should focus on stopping it at it's source and discuss how it can be prevented in the first place.
