The band is now called Steeltown Country. The Steeltown Country band dedicates this music video to ALL our military families. Some of these families have made the ultimate sacrifice of a loved one for this country. Steeltown Country Band along iwth Mr. William Lee Peterson, song writer of "I'll Be Home Soon", and Mr. Eric Pensenstadler, of Video Horizons, LLC., have donated time and money to this project to raise money for military families. This video and/or song can be downloaded at www.HotCountryRock.com free of charge in hopes it will be forwarded to others in hopes of encouraging donations. Donations can be made at www.HotCountryRock.com to T.A.P.S. (Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors). T.A.P.S. has "Best in America" seal of approval by Independent Charities of America. Note: The video was created through the direction efforts of Tim Brannon (harmony vocals) and money donation from Matt Kessler (lead vocals) when performing as the Kiger Brannon Band. John Kiger is no longer a part of the band, nor is he association with Steeltown Country in any way.

  • regardless of the reason as to why these songs are sung does not matter to us. were just glad that they are, because it reminds us that some people appreciate us and what we do and it also helps some of us keep our sanity. you [keytoothed] may never know what it is like to go to war, for whatever reason, and quite frankly we dont give a shit. we as soldiers NEVER question civilians as to why they dont serve we just go on with our duties. we dont ask for simpathy or anything else,

  • Many country songs are written about subject & topics that come from the heart. This one of those songs. Making a video of this song is something I am most proud of in my life. My father died with 2 purple hearts and a bronze star for bravery. I/we did this to show our love and support of our soldiers and their families and to raise money for charity that helps them.

  • Not ONE dime has been made on this song by either the song writer or the band! We are not famous, just a local band playing in Pittsburgh. We are honored to read that this video has had some positive affect and shows our respect for our soldiers and their families. All those fight for us know that the USA is not perfect but the WORLD is a better place because of it!! Tim Brannon

  • honestly we just ask that our brothers and sisters each make it home. keep singing and supporting. and keytoothed i hope you change your views man, my unit is getting deployed in april 2010 and i just want you to know that its songs like these that keep some soldiers from losing hope when bullets starts flying your way. i am ashamed that people like you exist. idk anything about a pipeline and i really dont care, im doing this for my 3 daughters and my son. idk what to call it besides my duty.

  • What a beautiful tribute; thanks for sharing and take care!

  • RIP SAPPER LARCOMBE

  • dont let these people get to you. as prior army soldier i know one of the things i fought for was freedom of speech. that is what they are expressing. i may not like it, but if we try to censor them then we are stopping what my brothers andsisters have died for. everyone will be judged later in life for their actions and words. -Freedom isn't free, but it's worth fighting for-

  • @KigerBrannonBand The big problem with the people of this country is that, since our Civil War, we have not had to fight on our streets. We know we can go home tonight and our home will be there and so will our families. This is not true in many countries. England was almost leveled, so was Germany, Japan and many others. Now we are at war in the Middle East and the people there don't know if they will live for the next hour. We say we honor and support our Troops? Some do but most don't.

  • Such a beautiful song, keep up the good work. and thanks to the men and women serving our country
