too bad this is 1 person hogging all the processing power. now show me a game where you have 10-20 of these guys in exactly the same detail all running around, and then try and convince me about your "lighting through the ears"

@tabovilla The 360 supports shader model 3 also. And the Cell processor is actually not needed for these graphics; it can actually bottleneck the RSX's 24 shader pipelines (360's Xenos has 48 shader pipelines). Lol truth is all current consoles are severely outdated and and are in need of a next-gen. Especially the fucking Wii Lol.

@PlaystationCrusader You don't know shit. The 360 and the PS3 have 1 gb of RAM...COMBINED. And the 360 has 512mb Unified RAM, and not to mention the 360's GPU kicks the shit out of the PS3's weak ass RSX.
-
@BudzMcgr33n both are 1 gb in total and ps3 ram is faster, dont be a faggot!

that guy looks scared

@SeedKnightSiefer Lol PS3 games cannot use 4x AA let alone 16x AA you fucking n00b shit. The 360 has better anti-aliasing you twat. PC based Gears of War? ALL videogames are based on or developed on a PC you IDIOT. The Cell processor and Xenon are virtually the same, and the PS3 has less unified Ram than 360. On top of that the PS3 has a weaker GPU than 360 Lol. The PS3 is NO WHERE NEAR HIGH END PC GRAPHICS CARDS DUMBASS...

It's a shame The Getaway 3 never made it. I always enjoyed those games, and with a decent script and storyline could be a classic.

@SeedKnightSiefer No, it isn't. Intel has had 8-core Nehalem-based Xeon processors for a while now, and last year AMD released their 12-core Magny-Cours chip. For 2011, Intel has a 10-core Westmere-based chip planned for the Xeon lineup and AMD has its upcoming Bulldozer microarchitecture, which will allow up to 16 cores per die.

Wow I feel good owning a PS3 with users like you on it.
Now back to Uncharted 2. You know cuz I'm an actual PS3 fan and not a troll with no life. :)
lighting through the ears. . made only possible by the cell processor. .
the lighting through the ears thing is done with SUBSURFACE SCATTERING, possible with all shader model 3 cards, from Nvidia's 6000 series (2004) and ATI's X1K series (2005), not miraculously with the use of cell processors.

I'm yet to see any of this technology truly taken advantage of. This entire generation has been incredibly disappointing, and I'm talking about the whole generation.
FPSs, Patches, Mediocre games treated like the holy grail, ever-unchanging sequels...
