Today Apple had there press conference for the issues concerning the iPhone 4 and Apple's attack of the issue basically came down to giving away free cases for all iPhone 4 users and new buyers until September 30th. They also are giving money back to users that have already purchase the case or bumper from them. They also made some comparisons of other smartphones such as the Blackberry 9700 (Bold) and the Samsung Omnia II.

To me Apple is willing selling you a flawed product while may not happen to everyone they are saying we will sell it flawed for now and give you a case to prevent this issue from happening but you have to use this case to prevent this issue fully. Accessories should be an option not a requirement and it seems here that it's a requirement.

I also find that Apple is hurting the Case manufactures for then next couple of months with this free case which seems to be a way of pushing the cost of a recall a bit off to the case companies who will lose profit and will cost apple a little but not a lot down the line when compared to a recall. and....To read the rest of this article head over to http://bwone.com/iphone-4-press-conference-antennagate-round-up/

I've not noticed the signal loss problem with my iPhone 4, and dropped calls? Well I've never had one but I'm on the Bell network in Canada.

Apple should admit to failure, and just refund money asap. This should possibly go under the lemon law, as it's a basic feature of a product that is not working. A stupid case isn't going to fix flawed engineering. And that a poor excuse from Jobs that other smartphones have the same issue, is just not true. And ,really is no concern of Apple's nor changes the fact that their product is flawed.  What is sad, is that people still go out and buy iphones at stupidly inflated prices.

People arent grateful that apple has made so many great products so they make fun of it. New phones like an Android or HTC, in a couple years, itll be updated and still be "bad"

One more thing, why does anyone who doesn't own an iPhone care about iPhones? Why waist your time ranting about or criticizing those that own them and are happy with them? Android, Symbian, Palm, Blackberry fans.... PEACE!!!

Go in peace and enjoy your phones, you deserve them, you earned them, and you use them. I am sincerely happy for you and your investment. Stop wasting your time Apple bashing and move on to bigger and better things.

I have not dropped a call with my Canadian carrier. Perhaps this is really an issue with the carrier setting and or sim card settings of ATT. I know at least 5 people, me included that don't have any issue with reception. Why do you think that is?
