@smillley484848 well first and foremost, 80% of the dorms on my campus are singles and the building i lived in was entirely single rooms. but regardless, i wanted a single room for many reasons, i like to socialize but i also really appreciate having my alone time. i wanted to be able to go to bed and wake up when i pleased, call my bf whenever i wanted and not have someone else get in the way of my studying. 2 of my friends were roommates and it was fine, but another friend had an awful roomie

@MakeupWithLexx i didn't get lonely. my best friend lived two doors down. it's not really so different than having your own room at home.
