"if you take education out of america then what are we, we're supposed to be staying competitive with the world? absolutely y ot, with these budget cuts that is not ok." whats more--this business school profefesor says she worried abot the economy-- that's breeding an un-educated america. he parentheeen planning their e, because they want them toea od in the economy on a higher level, they want them to live the american dream."e proteets ate eang their voices toe capit lawmakers are backing numb lls e mandates. e lawmakers introduced bills that will give the strictmore flexibility to ke difficulbudgets work.me of ts include lightening the perwork load or savingoyby furl. supporters say it would make the schools more efficient - saving millions. in this kinda of era what we need to do is release the mandates allow our 500 public schools across the commonwealth of pennsylvania more flexibility in how they handle the big challenege in adequatly educating our youth. the 2011-2012 spending plan proposed by governor corbett includes huge cuts in education funding. healthcare reform will take center stage at the state capitol today. it's been one year since the obama administration passed the affordable care act. today --- members from groups such as health care for america now and pennsylvania health access network will be in attendance at a hearing to talk about health care benefits at a capital hearing. while-- governor corbett is scheduled to testify in support of rereal for the affordable care act. last month the governor let a program--- adult basic--- for low income pennsylvanian's expire. the capital hearing begins at 10-30. swoosh president obama is cutting short his latin american trip to deal with the crisis in libya--- the president is set to attend a national security meeting in washington today. on tuesday--- while in el salvador--- stressed the u-s won't be involved for a long time like other military decisions. calling the mission a success so far, the president says thousands of lives have been saved. obama says "..we have a long range policy of making sure that qaddafi is no longer blockiki the legitimate aspirations of the libyan people, but that is not necessarily going to be accomplished by military means alone."...
