Ares to Bares via the North Galicia coast in Spain. Watch in High Definition (bottom right of video window) for best resolution. See more details like elevation profile, KML, download route to GPS device etc on http://www.mapmyride.com/ride/spain/ares/999520704261 A hard hilly coastal cycle / bike route of around 170Km reaching heights of 600m at the heighest sea cliffs in europe. Passes many sandy, lagoon backed surfing beaches with great views. Part of Celtic Spain. Sea crossing by ferry from Mugardos to Ferrol, but can start in Ferrol if ferry not available for any reason. If you like to do this route and want a place to stay, then contact me as have a choice of accomodation in Ares, a great charming little beach resort. Ride ends at the lighthouse in Bares, which has been turned into a hotel/restaurant http://www.semaforobares.com/ so can stay their for the night and do a return trip next day along same route, or via an inland route (will post soon so keep an eye out).
