  • I've driven this road quite a few times. It's nowhere near as bad as it used to be. It's route 2A from Houlton to Lincoln.

  • I had the priviledge of appearing with Dick many times over 40 yrs. ago as his backup band and also as a preliminary singer for many of his New England shows. My favorite song was "My House of Memories". He was as nice to work with as he was to the public. He is sadly missed in the world of country music entertainment and there will never be anyone like him.

  • @stixer1353 hey John Ewing from millinocet said he grew up with you

  • Sometime in the late 60s or early 70s Dick did a recording of "China Nights". It was a number I really liked and it seems hard to find. It would be great if you could post it!

  • For some reason that sounds familiar also. I met a number of artists that came thru and played at the old millstream club. As a matter of fact the P A speakers we used back then I still have today. Dick signed a booking pic for my brother and I, which I still have and will put at some point on my account(donnybernard) on youtube search. I have met many artists over the years. I still play locally in the okc area. don

  • @donnybernard His name was Sleepy Willis

  • @TheJohnnymoon would that be sleepy la beef? I worked with sleepy la beef and in 1970, Dick and his guitar player came in and did a show at the Mill stream club, Ayer ,Mass. a couple of times if I remember right. Sleepy was working out of Nashville at the time, I think he is in Boston area, now. Donny Bernard
