word up to uncleflaco. i have a 2001 malibu with 112k miles. my family's had toyota, honda, chrysler, plymouth, ford, etc... the toyotas we've had have gone through major mechanical issues (transmission, motor, intake manifold), meanwhile the car with the most reliability I've ever had has been a 2001 Malibu with a 3.1 V6. Chevrolet has been nothing but quality in my experience.

frontier: You cam in here to bash American cars - you're not fooling anybody with your "I had two Malibu" bullshit. I've had American trucks and cars and posted high mileage with no issues. Get the fuck out of here with your Acura fag mobile comments. Acura is an overpriced Honda - you are a worthless little bitch that likes to come into threads and talk shit, so step the fuck out you ass clown.

Very nice - I'd take this over a Camry or Accodr any day. The Japanese stuff has become so vanilla and "me-also" that it takes the fun out of driving. Can't think of a single Japanese car that I'd buy these days. They had genuine advantages in the 1980s and even through much of the 90s, but way too many good American products now for me to justify buying non-American.

hahahha that was funny I agree with that its funny how difference is the American test car drives from Europe

I see chevy is sticking ugly grills on the Malibu. They will be forced to change it in a couple years like they did with the 2006.

For the love of all things good. WHO wants to see ANY car being taken for a nice Sunday stroll?!? Let's see how it handles corners, hairpins, 1/4 mile launches! STEP UP THE PACE!!!

Looks classy, like a 3/4 Phaeton/Maserati.
But somehow GM managed to make the last Malibu handle like crap with a Saab floorpan, so I'll drive it before I believe it's not yet another American Dumpster.

sorry, i fell asleep, what did i miss?
hey everyone stop judging it you had a Malibu 6 years ago OK good but don't compare it to this one because its not the one you had so first test drive and see it then decide if its like your old crappy Malibu as some of you describe
