I have a question. So the glass, only glass thankfully, cracked on my 2010 MBP 13 in, my question is does the crackege increase? because I'm starting to see new cracks. Maybe these are cracks I hadn't seen yesterday?

@lorianguy The LCD is the actually display of the computer and when it's broken it affect's the image. If It's just a screen breakage (Glass) It only puts lines on your screen. Hope I answered your question and Glass is really to protect the LCD

@lorianguy That happens when an LCD breaks, if you google "broken lcd display" you will see a lot of pictures of it :)

@lorianguy well the screens are called "liquid crystal display", and the "liquid crystals" are housed in little blocks which are the pixels. when a electrical current goes through the liquid crystals, a certain colors shows up. when the screen is cracked, the little houses that hold the liquid crystal breaks, letting the liquid crystals move to other places. and when a current that was supposed to trigger a certain color goes through, the colors show up differently :D
