Lockdown supports full hardware encryption, so it works independently with all OS, and there is no software installation or transfer speed decrease even in encryption mode. I can be used not only with all operating systems (Windows, MAC, Linux), but also any digital device (Media Player, TV, NAS..) that supports USB host.
