Gizmo @ 17 after steroid/antibiotic side effects

Gizmo at 17 y.o. after a steroid-antibiotic shot nearly killed her in March 2011. congestive heart failure and kidney failure. sent home with 25% kidney function and 25% chance of long-term survival. doing well but for the cortisone eating away two disks in her back until it was out of her system. you can see the hump she didn't have in her 16 y.o. You can see her STRAIGHT back in the segment running around the pool. we suspect her jumping days are over. see here for other animals ravaged by same injection. She see's a doggie chiropractic/massage therapist 13 Feb. '12 to see if therapy will help align the disks.
