@Hazukixkohei Dante is a half-demon, and sorry the anime isn't really worth watching, it is short with low character development the plot is rushed in a few episodes while the rest has no connection at all and it has some fail to the DMC universe in it.

You should play the games first, the anime isn't really long so you can watch it later, but it's just a source of information what happend between DMC1 and DMC4, really nothing exciting about it.

@BiHStalker Actually the manga is complete. The manga is suppsed to be the year before Vergil does the whole demon tower thing.  Thats why at the end of mission 2 of DMC3 Dante says "It's been nearly a year since we last met..."

@Hazukixkohei Okay dante is human but he is half human and half demon but if he wants he can turn to full demon when he uses Devil Trigger.And the Anime is worth watching you learn alot trust me its really cool.And a tip dantes real name is not Anthony either because it says it in the anime but its all a lie so you wont get mixed up.

Huh... Is Dante human? I've seen my brother play devil may cry 2 and dante looked so cool!!! I wanna see the anime but i dont know if its worth watching, and weather or no dante is human.. plz help me someone xD
