Demonstrating how to make super simple Indian flatbread at home called Kulcha using all purpose flour, yogurt, sugar, salt and baking soda/soda bicarbonate. This bread tastes great with curries and is good for vegetarians as it is yeast and egg free.

  • Wow! My new favorite channel on Youtube!!! Awesome!

  • @AntJustAnt Great to know :)

  • Can you use brown rice flour instead of all-purpose (or whole wheat flour)?

This way the recipe can be both yeast free and gluten free.

  • @sweetspotable Oh yeah for sure )

  • hi there.. can i set the dough to stay for a night? is it possible?

  • @stS3S Oh absolutely, you can set the dough to stay for night and once the dough is ready and you've made kulchas, you can leave rest of the dough in the fridge for use later (use within 1-2 days)

  • @jamana85 oh it is..infact a bit softer than kulchas coz these are thinner than the ones you get in market. Try it, you'll like it!

  • its not soft

  • @Nx2mars Yeah, you are right : ) These are so easy to make too unlike commerical ones, you know what you are eating!

  • This is great, Kulchas sit so much easier on the stomach than paranthas or naan which are much heavier!
