This is a VERY basic video - I tested it out at a friend's place and she taught me some basic techniques.
Use your lightest shade first, then a darker one and go back to the lighter one to blend the darker bits so it doesn't stick out! Don't press too hard or else the colors will "streak" more and always use a flicking technique or circular motion to color (brush tip).
Pretend there's a light shining on your stamped image and imagine where your shadows (darker colors) will land...it helped me a lot to use my friend's already colored in image and I tried to imitate it! (Or use a lamp on a certain angle...then follow the shadows you see with a darker color).
You can blend with 1 color by letting the first layer dry a bit (doesn't take long) and then adding more of the same shade.
Another tip I found useful was stroking the lighter pen against the darker shade and using the lighter one to blend the darker edges and main sections.
TAKE your time!!!
I colored in the skin first because it had a bigger surface.
DO NOT use Stayz On Ink - use Memento instead to prevent bleeding etc. Copic Ciao Markers are alcohol based but the scent is not very strong.
Make sure you use paper that can handle "markers" - your coloring may cause bleeding (or saturation) through the paper - so please use something underneath to protect your work surface.
Thanks for watching and please check out my other videos and blog:

(I'll post some photos there soon of my other Copic colorings I did!)
Hope this helps! I'm addicted!
@cuervotlk I honestly admit - I am AWFUL at color pencils and shading! Never did it before and probably never will...
These are worth every penny (shop online - probably cheaper) - because they are re-fillable. Whereas markers like "Pro Marker" are not and do not have a brush-tip which helps a lot with getting tight corners of images.
I recently purchased the tips and guide book from Book Depository (my fav. book shop because it's free-shipping world-wide!) and can't wait to learn more!

@cuervotlk Glad it helped! I am a newbie myself but find it much easier than adding water to water-colored pencils!
