UFO files released March 2009 at The National Archives (UK) - video

The third instalment of UFO files, transferred by the the Ministry of Defence, covers the period from 1987 to 1993. One of the more unusual cases recounts the experience of an unidentified female who phoned RAF Wattisham in Norfolk in November 1989:

'She reported she was approached by a man who claimed to come from another planet, similar to earth. During the ten minute conversation, the man claimed his race was responsible for creating crop circles. What's more, he felt it was important for contact between the two peoples to occur. As she ran home, the woman heard a loud buzzing noise behind her, and turned to see a large, glowing spherical object rise steadily until out of sight'.

Well,that's great that they discovered that upon an investigation. Too bad that the MOD just this week shut down the UFO files and now NOBODY (supposedly) is investigating these reports. Isn't something like this very relevant to national security?? Even if it IS remains of a russian rocket. You'd think MOD would want to KNOW about that! Why shut this program down?

@MagnesiumAlloy I never tell people this story because they might think I'm crazy or something.. me and my brother used to talk about it a lot.. but once we got older he started denying it when I brought it up in front of his friends.. heh I could tell he was embarrassed.

I didn't know what a UFO was when someone said that.. but I knew this thing was strange. we just stood there and watched this thing fly over us.. completely silent.. It was a perfect black triangle with atleast 20 green, blue, red, yellow lights lining the perimiter.. then someone got scared and ran so I got scared and ran followed my brother into a ditch until we felt sake again...

I'm pretty sure I saw a UFO when I was 5 and out with my brother and all his friends.. we lived at a base called CFB Mill Cove and it was guarded by MP's so parent weren't worried about giving us a curfew.. anyways for fun we used to dress in our parents military gear and play hide and seek and nikiniki nine door and sneek past guard posts.. stuff like that. I think the most interesting of these files is that one that explains that Winsten Chruchill met with the US president to discuss the UFO threat and how to keep it quiet.
