I don't see what's sexist or racist about this commercial. In fact, I think it's kind of feminist in that it makes fun of how guys fight each other over vag access- plus the ad wants us to show our ovens "a little love." Who doesn't like hygiene? And so I say, "Hail to the V!"

@SGR05 no they fought over power and control not women. Helen of Troy was just a pond in the whole thing, the other kingdom lusted for power of Troy for years and finally used the affair as an excuse to start war. Cleopatra, same thing. It's not women they wanted it's power and ownership. Women were things to them and it brought them shame that a man could steal their possession because after it was theirs to keep in line. And a good woman never got out of line, especially from her husband.

@siriuslykaye - I was so offended when I saw this commercial, I stopped what I was doing and wrote the makers of this stupid product. And, then, thinking historically, men didn't fight about the vagina they fought over the Penis - whose was bigger. Idiotic!

It's a witty, bold change. I love that it's including female sexuality as a strength and not an embarrassment. It's a fun and creative commercial. I also thought it was the start of an epic movie.

I am a black woman and I fail to see what is so bad racially or sexually about this commercial. Sexually speaking it is a historic fact men have fought over women, Helen of Troy, Cleopatra, etc. Racially, speaking I don't understand at all what the problem is.

Not just individual men fighting each other over women,but one community of men fighting another community of men, where the women were the prize and reason for the attack. Though not a war per se, King Henry VIII separated from the roman Cath. Church for his mistress Ann Boleyn and caused an upheaval in England, which led to the English Reformation.
