  • That guy who reviewed their first album is a douche. How could you hate that album? I love their early stuff!

  • Yeah i prefer the early stuff more aswell.

  • That's a very interesting video! Where are the other parts? I am a huge fan of The Cure. Their music cannot be categorised.

  • I am currently putting together another one, seeing as how popular this one has been :D

    VIVE ROBERT SMITH!!!!!

  • i hate the ladys voice in this story...ugghhhhhh.

  • what song is playing at 2:34?

  • They said that no punk rock band had any precision sound. *Coughs* the ramones.... *Coughs*

  • y this documentary is shit

pictures of robert in begin 80's when they're talking bout late 70's etc

    it just doesnt look right

& all those people dont sound like they mean it

  • Best live band I have seen, Underworld 2, janes addiction 3

  • I agree with lemmuhj, and what the fuck is the background music playing-clearly not from the band although it sounds faintly familiar, but they seem to be changing the notes. Obviously they didn't have permission to use any of their music. There are a lot better docus online about this brilliant band but this is pure shite!

  • The Cure is the best ever,Robert is a genius.

  • While The Cure's music seems to be aimed at gothic rock or post-punk or alternative/college rock, could there also be hints of early 1970s progressive/art rock in their sound? I know their contemporaries Siouxsie & the Banshees (for which Robert Smith had twice joined as guitarist, in 1979 and 1982-84) seemed to have elements of prog-rock in their sound.
