I Purchased a 2008 Mazda Nov 30th 2008
Car has made me sick when driving 105 minutes everyday
Car has created sickness, marital problems and undue stress.
Car was taken 3 times to Butch Oustalet Mazda in Gulfport, MS
Nelson Kajdan (Service Manager) stated that he could smell a strong odor in the car.
He even advised not to cover up or mask the smell on the 1st examination by Butch Oustalet

Mazda. The repair order states that the situation could not be duplicated.
The 2nd trip, I was not even given any paperwork and denied a loaner car.
Before the 3rd trip I was led to believe that there would be a formaldehyde test. Mark

Johansson ( Mazda Regional Representative) attended this meeting. I was asked numerous

question. I suspect that Mark Johansson ( Mazda Regional Representative) was illegally

recording the conversation. He made sure that I was very articulate regarding his questions.

Mark Johansson ( Mazda Regional Representative) final remedy was for me to take the car to my

auto insurance broker. My insurance broker stated that it is not an auto insurance issue, but a

defective vehicle. Mark Johansson ( Mazda Regional Representative) basically called me a liar

when I produced these Formaldehyde test results. He stated that I obtained these readings in a

FEMA trailer. Mark Johansson & MAZDA -- Your Mazda Cars are TOXIC -- even after 6 months.

Do not buy Mazda products unless you want to be exposed to 2 -- 3 times the ATSDR maximum

level of the carcinogenetic, deadly neurological poison known as Formaldehyde

It is a shame that the U.S. will allow deadly neurological poisons to be imported and sold in

products to innocent, unsuspecting consumers' and their CHILDREN. It is arriving in Mazda

automobiles, apparel from China, etc. The U.K., Australia and other countries are inspecting

and banning these TOXIC products and not allowing this chemical terrorism in their countries.

The car will be tested again at a laboratory. I will post the results in the near future. If

The Mazda was tested on a 65 degree day. Formaldehyde levels double every 16 degrees

Fahrenheit. At 85-90 degrees the car is EXTREMELY Toxic -- 6 time the maximum exposure limit.

FEMA will not allow FEMA workers in FEMA trailers, not even for 1 minute due to the deadly

neurological poison known as Formaldehyde

I bought a Accord with 14,000 miles - no formaldehyde. No wood grain, It is evidently in the glue that Mazda, VW, Chevrolet, Dodge, Hyundai uses .

No issues with the pair of 6's I've owned, the speed6 my gf owns, the 6s my best friend owns, or the half dozen other 6's that I've been in and driven.

Pretty wild, sorry about your troubles, I have other troubles w/my 2009 Mazda Tribute and no one wants anything to do with it now...hmmm...I have the warranty etc.! Just read my channel page, info. is there...In this mess like rt. now!

The smell / toxic fumes have not left. We tested a 2007 3 with 47,000 miles, it was still off the charts. Buy a badge - do the test. Post or email me the results. If you begin having sinus issues and watery eyes - know that you are allergic an the car can damage your nervous system
