@kingvincedrums If you like to throw all kinds of shapes, colors, and sonic nuances into your drumming, there's no better way to do it than with a Spaun Hybrid. Get the best of both worlds combining acrylic with maple or birch. You can bring in the louder, more focused qualities of acrylic while maintaining the warm, woody character of maple. Or, you can combine acrylic with birch for added brightness.
