@Aezaux Well, the "collective social justice religious people" (youtube Obama Advisor Jim Wallis redistribution of wealth marxism and social justice) are now saying that voluntary "charity" is not good enough and it should be redistribution of wealth that's going to save the day, to level the playing field. We're a gonner if we don't vote out the collective radicals who are running our country.

I guarantee when Obama was elected, there were people conversing that "Now is the time to push." or some variant of that.
Up until now, they've been following the Rules for Radicals model...putting things in slowly....with whispers in the collective ear...and "Shhh, Honey....its okay. I love you." Well...that time has passed. Now its time for something more closely resembling Deliverance or Pulp Fiction...or Shawshank Redemption.

I guess I don't understand your remark then. You say that you are for subsidized healthcare, but you admit that you see that it leads to redistribution of wealth. Ever heard of "give em' an inch and they take a mile"? This is not about healthcare...its about power and a fundamental change to a philosophy of self-destruction...socialism.
Helping the people living in TRUE hardship is just and good...but it should be done through charity...not the government...AT ALL!

The only thing Max Baucus admits to is redistribution of wealth, yours and mine to everybody else. I'm for subsidized (taxpayer funded) health care and that's why we have free clinics. I'm for subsidized health care and that's why we have MediCal (I'm from California), I'm for subsidized health care and that's why we have "free" county hospitals. Anyone can walk into any hospital and they can't be turned away. With the "robin hood"mentality sooner or later other people's money runs out.

Right, health care is now a right, it's not something that you purchase, like a good. Is fire insurance a right? No, it's a good. Is car insurance a right? No it's a good. You purchase insurance (a good) in case you ever need it so that you have it when you need it. Is that a right? No, it's a good. The only right gov't can give you is the "right to remain silent". Any other right a gov't gives you can as easily be taken away. Right?
