I think I understand it now, if neo choose to save zion instead and fufilled what would have been expected of him, whos to say that zion wouldnt end up like the matrix he was escaping from in the future? Zion is just another matrix since the source is just a foundation for the matrix's to be created from.

umm what's the usual outcome? r u saying that man can't resist the offer from the architect to start over in his own eden unless he has a reason to go back into the matrix....who's deceiving who, i find it very interesting how there r 2 RADICALLY different outcomes to this movie, many christians believe that neo is the anti-christ, but most people interpret "the one" as being a true savior!

he says it becuase shes not an 'oracle' she simply 'knows' becuase shes been through it before, she attempts to change the outcome of the usual running of the Neo program by encouraging him to fall in love.
