Spiny Mice

I breed spiny mice as a hobby (I don't sell them, and have about 2 litters per year. They only have 1-3 babies in a litter). This video features my 2 year old satin agouti, Lucy, and a young cream standard, Napalm.

Lucy's parents were standard agouti, both carried cream and satin and Luce may carry cream. She's actually a bad agouti, and lacks the red coloring that her grandmother had. I attribute that to the cream in her.




Napalm's parents were both standard cream.

umm no u cant breed them with fancy mice, not what i know of anyway. get them from exotic (look it up on the internet) shops but not sur where, im only tellin what i know cause i hav them at my college, on the course im doin :)hope that helps and if it doesnt then im sorry

I love spiny mice!! I took care of a family of spinies when I was in HS. They are dolls! But I can't find any around here!! Not many breeders or petstores have them. Its sad T_T. I have ratties now, and one is getting old and sick (tumors) even though she's still pretty happy, she's slowing. But I was thinking about something like spinies after them.
