Few in the West have heard its authentically Persian sound, but now the classical, Persian stringed instrument known as a kamancheh is being heard in an unlikely place - the mid-western US state of Ohio. An Iranian-American musician is resurrecting the kamancheh's ancient sound - the hard way - and introducing it to a whole new audience.
What is the other instrument being played at 2 till the end. The tempo is perfect as I could find to present the small Caspian horses at a horse event next year. They are depicted on the tringual seal of King Darius (the great). Also shown by a miniature golden chariot, a toy or perhaps a gift that was, found in the so-called 'Oxus Treasure' in the far East of the Empire. I do not know if the kamancheh would have been played then. I would be very happy for any advice regards music :) thanks

This is is incredible, I think I shall have to click 'like' every day to get others to listen Meanwhile I will email this to my friends.I was looking for music that would be suitable, and quite different. Before I explain why I must go out and feed the ancient little Persian horses I have :) Your talent is amazing, I had not heard the name of this instrument before. It looks so difficult. Mind you I only ever got to play the triangle 124, 125, 126, ting :)
