Thanks for putting up these videos. Whilst not a Marxist, I do want a deeper understanding of the ideology.

Great lecture, I found it both educational and enjoyable, thank you.

"I will concede that to take this scene as an implicit critique of consumerism is not doubt to wrench the scene out of context. BUT NEVERTHELESS that is what it SEEMS TO ME"
Are we watching the same clip or your need to say something seemingly smart has overwhelmed your ability to pay attention to what is being said here. He clearly states that he is re-reading Chaplain for his own purposes. If you however want to make the argument that Chaplain is not critiquing Capitalism lets see it.

I have a feeling that this guy was referring to your take on the chaplain still, and seriously, that's nitpicking at its very worst.

Thank you so much for taking the time to make these videos!
I love studying and researching... but I dispise educators who put their own agenda and FEELINGS into their lecture presented as fact. shameful. Of course The Von Mises Institue does it too...

Thanks for your comment. I am sincerely curious to know which of my assertions or assumptions you find objectionable or to be distortions of facts. I might change my mind about something.
