They do sell tower Pc's, and won't deny they are over priced. You all have valid reasons, but it is down to personal preference. I personally think the best combo would be to own a gaming desktop with a macbook pro, best of both worlds, and that is what I do. Windows is better for somethings, Mac is better for others.

The only value from apple is the iMac. It is an IPS display (IPS displays cost $999+) and computer in one. And you can configure it to have 2gb of VRAM

  • @galaxiesaver

First, in what situation do you 24 cores to get work done? Second, have you even tried using one before? And when you go with apple you are paying for great build quality, great design, great software, and a better user experience than with windows. On OS X, you don't need 24 cores to get work done because OS X is made to be run faster on less hardware. So everyone comments on how apple is behind, but they are really ahead because they don't need all of bells and whistles.

  • @nickdog670 ive been a little wrong. sry. they do have some twoer pc's with 24 cores. but again the question comes up, are u paying for something u dont need?

  • @nickdog670 its basically the same with every notebook, BUT.......other notebooks are not sold massivly overpriced even if they have better hardware. like i said, apple isnt worth it for me if i can get 1000 times better hardware for the same amount of money. thats the main thing. They could aswell sell it for 700 or 800 dollars and still make lots of profit.

  • @nickdog670

If apple would build a tower PC like every other normal PC, fine with me. aslong as they dont sell it for more then other PC's with the same hardware. Its just that, macs cant use there full potential, although they sell for a price as if they could. for example, some macs have the GTX560M built in and because of that they sell as if they had the ormal GTX560 built in. although the 560m is a notebook version with less power they sell it for as much as a normal 560.

  • @nickdog670 true, but not all. look at this: apple never realy built a tower pc where enough hardware would fit in to play the most recent games on max settings. get it, only tower cases have enough space for the good hardware. There is no way that apple can run these games on max, not even with bootcamp. No laptop can realy do that. no alienware, no MSI notbook can do that. theres just no way! not even imac's can do it although there desktops, because of the design. and a Mac is a PC too!!!
