@M4NDON Pretty sure the telling Naruto that she loved him was to try and save him from the burden of trying to fulfill his promise. It was misguided but still not with the cruel intentions of what you're alluding to.

She feels helpless as a person caught in the middle of two best friends fighting. Just like in the beginning of the show.

So she wanted to do something about it, Save Sasuke's reputation by killing him and ease Naruto's pain by confessing. She couldn't do either. But she tried.

People keep saying "NARUHINA!!1!1!11!!1", but in reality they're not fit for each other. They hardly know each other. Naruto and Sakura practically grew up together. There's a better change of there being NaruSaku, but I'm always against these pairings. Sometimes I just break down and look up shipping of those NaruSaku lol.

People get made when she does nothing and people get made when she tries not to be useless. Sakura is just very unlikable to some people no matter what she does.

But she's just going to have to rely and trust in Naruto, which she hasn't really done lately.

@dbzhafan Not really. She grew up at the start of part 2, and actually managed to take down an Akatsuki member. That was the highlight of her character.. then Kishi dumbed her down again and made her just as pathetic and useless as the start of the series. She lied to Naruto and said she loved him just so she could kill Sasuke on her own, poisoned the rest of the squad to knock them out, and on two seperate occasions tried to kill Sasuke only to discover. BIG SHOCK that she couldn't do it
