  • @racermaniak I would look into that but it seems to begetting popular, granted don't give up the 454 especially if its a tonnowanda.

  • @Jaket2000 I'm not really worried about it though. Just something that stands out. I here that the Vortec engine gives the same power and torque but better MPG, this true?

  • @racermaniak Well if your worried about fuel economy buy a Suburban diesel. They get at most the mid 20s Same price to fuel and the only draw back is if somthing breaks.. Its gonna be somthing bad. Probobly my first truck is going to be a diesel suburban beacuse with a good turbo, computer, tune ups, you got probobly one of the most fuel efficent SUVS from the last two decades.

Besides with a 40 gallon tank and at highway speeds you can go forever,

  • @Jaket2000 I would this Suburban in compact spots, it would piss some people off. I was literally on the lines on both sides :D haha 9MPG though :(

  • @racermaniak those split doors have saved my family soo many times in compact parking, if you remove the passangers side inner pannel you got acess to the door latch. But thats true its one hellova icon indeed

  • @Jaket2000 The suburban has the splitting side doors. Yup, the Suburban has become more of a icon or something to drive. More than actually being used for trips and hauling things around.

  • @racerm 30 degrees and 50 degrees with gravel and mud are two different things especially with 75% highway tire tread. But my bad for not finishing my apprsal of it. I belive still the suburban was one of the best chevrolets up till 97 thats when they where making them less utoolatarian and more urbanized BS sorta thing. Hey does yours have the side doors or the folding ramp in the back?
