The bells of Ludlow, Shropshire during the first test ring after augmentation from eight to ten.
Bells 1 & 2 are by Gillett & Johnston 1935, 3 4 & 8 are Whitechapel Gillett profile 2008. The remaining bells were cast by Abraham Rudhall in 1732. Tenor 16-2-16 in E. The former 5th (in foreground), sanctus bell, and an additional new bell complete the diatonic chime of twelve bells with a flat tenth. The bells were hung in the modified existing frame with a mixture of new and refurbished fittings by Nicholson Engineering. This firm also supplied and installed the new electronic clock and chime system.
