Very well said and lots of good info!

@SpaceFrawg I'ld rather just stay in my little place and hide. It's the only solution that I know of. I rarely go to town, however a human judge ain't the one that scares me.

@SustenanceNCovering I think sometimes force needs to be used and it's not always deadly force. Every fight is not a gunfight. Lawyers are not cheap and I would much rather have to explain why I sprayed an unarmed man with pepper spray for trying to beat my ass than why I shot him.

@SpaceFrawg I use to cut people a lot of slack. The older I get the less faith I have in the human being. If someone acts like they like to kill, I just take it that they are cruel assholes. If someone appears to be a threat, I just consider them to be a threat. If they need to be sprayed, or hit, I figure that I'll just spray, or hit them with some bullets. Keep it simple. However I have been carrying for 30 years and have never pulled my gun, although I have turned off the safety before.
I was raised by action movies and war video games, I grew up without a respect for life. When in college I was the first to a scene of a fatality car accident, a middle aged husband/father was crushed and killed. I saw the effect his death has on his family up close. Most people wont experience this but I'm glad I did. It is sad another man lost his life before I gained an appreciation of it. I was lucky to see this. Most people my age are like I was before I witnessed that pain. I'm 23 y/o.

@jcf005 I was standing on the side of the road once when a car came by and ran over three children. It was out in the country and I was there all alone. I pulled one young boy out of a ditch so he wouldn't drown, but when his head came up it was crushed. I held an artery closed the best I could on a baby, but by the time the ambulance got there he had lost so much blood that his brain damaged and is now mentaly retarded. I cryed for days. Very Traumatic.

Killing an animal for food is a sacrifice and I'm glad you said that. I agree.
Only God can truly reprogram mans sinful, evil heart . For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
The Bible says "Behold the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world." Jesus is that sacrifice. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

@Bonigee I believe that a lot of people think that the Israelites sacrificed animals jjust to kill them and send them to God, but the Bible says that they actually only burnt certain non food parts up in the fire. All of the rest was shared by the community. The penalty for a man killing his own bull without bringing it to the temple was death.
