The USOC begins its monthly vodcast series with a look at two-time U.S. Figure Skating pairs champions Keauna McLaughlin and Rockne Brubaker as they gear up for next month's World Championships and the upcoming Olympic Winter Games.

I feel bad for her :( What could make her want to quit (for now anyway)? Something must have been really wrong :( Being with Rockne everyday would have been enough to make me happy. haha. ;) But in all seriousness, i thought she loved skating and i saw the Olympics as just a bump in the road for this team. they obviously know they could have improved upon last yrs Natls and that could have served as bigtime motivation. (cont. because I talk too much and ran out of room).. Actually, just knowing what a beautiful young team they are i thought would keep them in it for the long haul. I feel gutted for her :( Such a brilliant skater & matched the style of Rockne just about perfectly. I will miss watching them learn from the highs &lows of their career and seeing them develop over the years. They were the best US pair, so it's very sad, but most of all, it's sad that Keauna felt she had to walk away. :(

@heyimaj111 omg, I cried a little too. Mostly just because i wasn't expecting it at all. it just seems so weird. There's like 382819 other pairs that I figured would be done before they were. And they were my favorite pair, actually the only pair I root for at all right now, so it just sucked. and i feel bad if Keauna is feeling burnt out right now. They had such good potential and looked so gorgeous together. i wanted to see how they would do with more time! ahhh, booo.

I heard that Keauna has left skating. I cried. It ruined my day. They could be so good!! I don't understand, this is so crazy and I couldn't imagine them quitting over the Olympics. That would have just motivated more to skate better next season. They are such an amazing pair, so young, so many more chances to do well... gotta hope they realized that. They've always seemed like very competitive people who really loved skating. I dislike this news greatly :(

I really like them. they are captivating. When they skate, it looks like they truly enjoy skating together, and that really draws me in to a pair. I wish them the best, they deserve it.
