I guess I lied when i said that the last video wouldbe the last opeth song i'd record! I knew how to play 3 others before i started posting videos on youtube and so I re-recorded those songs. This is "The Leper Affinity". enjoy!!! Thanks for all the great comments too!

Simply stunning. You are a superb guitarist. So perfectly played. I'd give anything to be able to play guitar like this. This makes me appreciate just how amazing Mikael is at guitar because this is complex stuff to play and he does it live whilst doing vocals at the same time. Good guitaring isn't about super fast shredding. If you want to hear good guitaring then listen to OPETH>

how do you time that start?:O I've been working on this song myself, but i can't play the start without a count-in.. damnit.. spot on playing though!

if you look closely you can see me looking at my other monitor, i think its at 0:25 secs on mine when it comes in so just make a note of when it comes in and practice it. thats all i did. hope this helps.

Just wondering, did you use tabs or did you do it by ear?

both man. i use power tabs and if i think something doesn't sound right IL figure it out the hard way.

cheers man! you'll be happily surprised to know i don't even own an amp of any kind! I bought a zoom G2.1U pedal and hooked it up to my computer and got a nice sound from it. you just gotta take the time to mess with the controls and be perfectly happy with your sound. Stay at it! you'll get it if you keep trying! let me know how you get on!
