If you just eliminate the preexisting condition abuse, without allowing any public option, the insurance co.s would just pass the costs on to policy holders including some extra profits.
As to the government option, is he actually trying to tell us that one more choice is "less choice". Seniors have a the choice of a private plan. Why shouldn't the rest of us have the choice of a public plan?

This video is completely miss leading. There is no such word as rationing anywhere in the document. Plus there is nothing in this plan that will cut medicare services or limit choices. It's a load of crap!!
