This is a collection of videos and photos showing the work done by the volunteers at the Patient Administration Department (PAD), aka "The PAD," at Balad Air Base, Iraq from January to May 2008. Their job was to get the wounded personnel, US and Coalition Forces, and civilians from the Medevac helicopters into the Emergency Room where the US doctors could work there magic. Their dedication to the service they performed saved many lives. In many cases, they literally held people's lives in their hands.
