@llamaslyr There is no reason to Go up against Worlds Best militaries (eg:UK, US) because all of them have a stable Government and the people of their nation can think straight. Indian Military is Primarily for Defence Purposes only. The only hostiles we have are our Next door Neighbors Pakistan and China. Both are Nuclear Powers, China Maintains No- First Use Policy while Pakis dont have such policy. I think India is well equipped for Defending its borders with current Equipments.

India has one, the INS Viraat, which was made in 1953 and purchased in 1986 from Britain. Get your facts straight. While your nuclear stockpile count is 200, US once had well over 32,000 warheads, now cut down to over 5,000 under the NPT. Either get your facts straight, or don't open that mouth of yours.

@llamaslyr lol i think you underestimate these weapons they may be old but they still work and there have been modifications made to them to be effective on todays battlefield. just like the m16 developed in the 1960s but still used by the us army today. and as for fighter jets americas is superior but india is developing a fifth generation fighter to surpass the f-22 and f-35 and india doesn't have one aircraft carrier but more like 20. indias nuclear stockpile count is about 150-200.
