Great video - wish I had a couple of oxen like these. I have heard that a lot of farmers now, especially in Asia, are reverting back to the traditional method of oxen vs. a tractor as petrol/diesal has become so expensive. However, there needs to be a revival of the old skills and training as many farmers have lost them.
Hitchmaster how about a video of oxen wearing collars to illustrate your point.Humans have used neck yokes on themselves for thousands of years by the way.
I thought I might ask for your help, but I think I'll stick to my friends who return my respect in kind. Keep in mind that people don't care how much you know, until they know how much you care. You are apparently only interested in feeding your ego by belittling others.
I get a lot of the "poor horse" comments in an average day. Supprised to hear fo much talk of "happy" when I saw no discomfort or lack of ability on the part of the oxen. Sorry for he PETArd comment.
@KateFan Sorry to correct YOU, horses have been used in countries like Ireland, where there are no working oxen for thousnads of years. "regards"
