@mrvolsku most ignorant comment on youtube.. 150-95 over a team that had 4 scholarship players, come on dumbass. Then, UK dominated the next 3 times they met. Brag, sure but, dont brag about a win over a team with first year coach and more team managers than players.

I remember this game, it's always great watching Kentucky get beat down. Brought back memories of 1989 when my Jayhawks bent Kentucky over the scorers table at Allen Fieldhouse and violated them 150-95!

@jephsteph I will agree with this and add an extra team Tennessee. UK and UT are the two teams Vandy goes into game with emotion. The last Sweet 16 appearance they had that emotion and just barely lost (I will forever hate Georgetown because of that). But their last two trips they just sort of seem blah. Hopefully the young players learn that lesson and Festus and Taylor get these guys fired up (as they seem to show and play with emotion).

Vandy's problem is they rarely show any emotion once they get to the Big Dance. If they would match the emotion and effort like they do against Kentucky they would have easily been a Final 4 contender on several occassions in the past. Vandy needs to remember that UK is not the only team on their schedule.....that's always been and always will be their weakness.
