The overall story in Mass Effect 1 and 2 stay roughly the same regardless of your choices, but that's kind of selling the games short. While your decisions thus far don't have a MAJOR impact on the story, the fact that you can change the subtleties of the story actually makes a big difference. Mass effect 3 is shaping up to change in big ways from your decisions in the first two.

@Jwgray1985 Funny. I've not once in like six playthroughs and a bunch of restarts noticed that. Presumably it's because the Charon relay goes to Arcturus, so Joker's using it in the sense of 'The relay to Arcturus is in range'. But then, Arcturus Prime sounds like a planet rather than the system, and the Normandy's destination is Eden Prime. So maybe Arcturus Prime was the original name for Eden Prime and the dialogue for that one line never got fixed.

its funny in this video you can hear joker say "Arcturas Prime relay in range" but when you first see the Normandy in flight it looks like its passing Jupiter which would mean you would be going through the Charon Relay
