Yes and no ^_^ They both debuted in the '90s and are boybands. Music-wise, it depends on which album of Shinhwa's you're looking at. I can't really imagine BSB singing the kind of songs from Shinhwa's 1-3 albums (rap, rock, hip-hop). Album 4 and 5 (incl. Perfect Man) are more similar to American boyband (i.e. BSB) sound/dance. Then in albums 7-9, Shinhwa moves away from that sound again.

BSB, while primarily a pop group, has been pretty versatile in their music. They have done things from pop to pop rockish, to dance, ballad, etc. I've followed their music for a long time and they have definitely covered more than 1 type of sound.

haha~ I thought someone would point that out about the BSB, but my comment was already getting kinda long, so had to generalise. I'm at that age where I grew up with BSB too ^^:: I agree BSB is pretty versatile in their music. Nevertheless, like most old skool kpop, I think Shinhwa's idea of 'rock' may still be somewhat different than BSB's rock, same with the ballads.

you're probably right, considering I just got into shinhwa, so I don't know them as well as you. Btw, have to thank you for that, because I saw happy together, which you uploaded I think,  a few weeks ago and that pretty much made me a fan of shinhwa. They were all so funny there, so thanks for that and all the other videos you uploaded of shinhwa.
