[Review] NANA (Anime)

Music, drama AND some romance? Yeah, it works.

NANA, a shoujo series created by Ai Yazawa, is a great example of a slice of life series that doesn't just focus on daily life. Incorporating several romances between the two girls, the music business and a hell of a lot of drama, it gets pretty exciting.

NANA is about 2 girls, both age 20, both with the first name Nana. They end, by chance, moving in with each other, thus their two very different worlds end up crashing together, with many different results (no, this isn't some whacky comedy). It's an extremely different take on what normally ends up being a comedy.

I frickin loved Nana I'm soo excited for season 2 whenever that comes out(the writer was really sick I heard) I would read the manga, but I really want to finish the anime before I do. :D

I liked this anime. But the drama kind of wore me out. lol. I wish the main characters were gay. The series kind of gave that impression.

I'll admit, it really was a good anime. Lately, I haven't been able to find an anime that has been able to keep my interest longer than just the first, maybe the first 3, episodes. However, I didn't like how it ended with Hach i(the lively of the 2 Nana's). I think it could have been better with how things went with her towards the last few episodes.

Im glad that in the anime Ren doesn't die, because in the last episode they say where is Ren? And they say he is gonna meet thes at the fireworks. So in the anime he doesn't die! :DD

HELP!!! What is the song title in NANA ep 21. in 03:16 min. Nana and Takumi kiss in the car!!!!! I can not find it in Nana OST

This is a great series. It's pricey to pickup all 4 volumes from VIZ about $200. But I found it worth it. It also has a pretty good English dubbing too. Though I'd say the Japanese is better. Great review

I AM SO HAPPY I LOVE NANA and so awesome that ROMI PAKU does Nana's voice which also does EDWARD ELRIC FROM FMA HELL YA :) she is an awesome voice actress i would love to meet her one day
