ufc is for classy fighters and pride was the shit and had straight killers that wanted to scrap ( not real killers just the way they fought) and were honored like warriors but now all of em are just classy...n boring

@cutescarface51 I agree that this is much better to watch. But in defense of the ufc stomps and knees to the head can cause some nasty concussions and concussions effect mental health sometimes permenantly. Elbows on the other hand cause cuts which could end a fight but cuts can easily be stitch and don't leave the fighters with permanent brain damage.

still hurts to this day that pride fc is gone same as dale earnhardt dying for others.really loved japanese fans who never talked or booed during fights and you could get a main event fight to open the show. saw every pride fc event from 3 till the end. long live the greatest mma production ever

@DamienWar Elbows weren't allowed because they easliy caused cuts which lead to stoppage even if the fighter is full of energy and able to fight. Stomps and soccer kicks don't cause that much cuts so they were allowed. See, thats the main difference between PRIDE and UFC. PRIDE wanted their fighters to fight for as long and as good as they can and earn PRIDE (Hunt-Kohsaka - perfect example) while UFC tends to prefer the spectacular slaughterfest, at least they portrait it so - no sport anymore!
