http://NiaShanks.com In this video I show you how to make weight lifting/powerlifting chains. All you need are several 5ft 3/8" chains, and then two 1ft 3/16" chains and two 3/16" carabiners. http://niashanks.com/blog/How+to+Make+Weight+Lifting+Chains/

  • great lifting and advice, Nia. I would recommend you use a lashing strap instead of the smaller chain, that way you can adjust the length of the chains to accommodate different sized lifters, or different exercises like squats, presses and deads in a matter of seconds. A lashing strap is only $6 at home depot. Thanks for a great channel and inspiring our women to be badass

  • @mwich40 Never thought of that. Thanks!!!

  • one thing I want to say. I do work at a gym that has hardcore equipment. making the smaller chain longer will allow more adjustabilty to squat dead bench or milrary. And if you want to do chain rows or chain bicep curls then you can just take the small chain off and then attach a handle. the key is when you set up the barbell that the chains are in the right position. Its all biomechanics so how much of the chain is on the ground makes a huge difference.. chuck

  • I could listen to your voice all day long mam. x x Thank you
