  • I just bought the soundtrack yesterday and I listened to the entire thing today, and I LOVED IT!! I admit it's a little different from the usual Star Wars music we've all come to recognize, but hey, that's why I like it.

  • I've just noticed that most of it is from the Empire Strikes Back!

  • @SyBabyProductions I'll say this all this focus on the clone wars is fine but this out of any of the in between / expanded universe deserves its own film. CG whatever it was such a great story. If you haven't done so already read the book its great!

  • I love seen the picture of Vader and the Emperor on the cover.

  • The game was better than the entire prequel trilogy, in my opinion. It's sad that George Lucas does not know how to tell his own story, but game developers and authors do a far better job than he can ever hope to.

  • I heared there making a movie out of this Book and video games Mr.Lucas Star wars

  • if you really want some real original star wars music listen to Clint Bajakian's "Tie Fighter" or "Dark Forces" soundtracks.

He comes up with that shit off the top of his head, and its sounds more star wars than star wars itself!

its just in midi format or whatever - imagine if it was done by an orchestra!

  • great

  • Yeah, this was way back around when it came out. '97 or '98.

  • @MacDragard Just because I follow and help report SW news day to day and have never heard a word on this, I'm going to go out on a limb and say it was a speculative piece not intended to be fact, or possibly a rumor. Only because I think I or one of my fellow reporters would have posted something on it if there was anything to go on. Unless this was years ago, in which case it was probably just canceled quickly.

  • @bloodbather88 I was reading a magazine at Barnes & Noble a long time ago that talked about actually casting characters for a SotE movie. I think they were actually going to get the guy who played Darth Maul to play Xizor from what I remember. It was too long ago for me to remember the details.

  • @MacDragard Shadows of the Empire was designed to be the equivalent of a Star Wars movie without the big budget movie itself. All together, it adds up to an unofficial movie, but there is no actual film version.
